Sarah McFetrich Therapy

Online and in-person therapy for adults

Based in Parkstone, Poole

A space
to be you.

Whatever you're carrying right now, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You don't need to have it all figured out to begin.

You might be here because...

Everything feels like too much

You can't quite name it, but something doesn't feel right. Maybe you feel flat, disconnected, or like you're going through the motions without knowing quite why. Sometimes that's enough of a reason to talk.

The relationship with yourself feels lost

Maybe something keeps repeating in your relationships - with others, or with yourself. A quiet sense of not quite knowing who you are, or feeling distant from the person you thought you were. Therapy can be a place to explore that, slowly and without pressure.

Something feels stuck, and you're not sure why

You might be feeling overwhelmed or weighed down. Maybe it comes in waves, or maybe it's just always there in the background. If any of this sounds familiar, therapy can be a space to begin exploring.

Sarah McFetrich, Humanistic Integrative Therapist

MBACP 01022907 - Humanistic Integrative Therapist

Hi, I'm Sarah.

I'm a Humanistic Integrative Therapist working with adults online and in-person.

I offer a calm, steady space where you can begin to make sense of what's going on for you - without feeling like you need to have it all figured out first.

I work in a relational and collaborative way. That means I pay attention to your experience as it unfolds, and we work together with whatever feels most present. I'm particularly drawn to what lies beneath the surface - the patterns, the feelings that don't quite have words yet, the things we carry without always knowing why.

I think therapy works best when it feels like a real human relationship - grounded, steady, and not too clinical.

There's no right or wrong way to use our sessions.

In our initial meeting, we'll have a chance to talk about what's bringing you here and what you might need. You don't need to prepare anything in advance.

If we decide to work together, we'll go at a pace that feels manageable for you. Sessions are a space where you can speak freely, or take things slowly if that feels easier. There's no expectation to say things in a particular way - we'll work with whatever comes up.

I offer both short and long term therapy - there's no pressure to commit to a certain number of sessions. Some people come with something specific they want to work through; others aren't sure how long they'll need, and that's completely fine.

Getting started

Not sure if therapy is right for you?

That's okay - most people aren't, at first. I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so we can have an informal chat, you can ask any questions, and we can get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
